Pre-Birkie Wax & Strategy Clinic Tuesday, February 21
If you're headed to Hayward next week don't miss the free Pre-Birkie Wax & Strategy clinic at 6 pm next Tuesday. TOKO's Ben Lund will be on hand to recommend the race wax and talk about the best way of running your race.
The Doc will also have special pricing on wax and supplies. Nordic clothing will be 25% off so you can be stylin' up north. We've got a great supply of energy products so you won't get to a food station and find there are no gels left. And, it will likely be your last chance to pick up new rocket skis for the race.
Birkie Waxing Service
We are offering great wax jobs for the Birkie. You'll need to have your skis in by Monday and can pick them up Wednesday or later.

Tunes for the Birkie
Tune into WOJB (88.9 FM) in Hayward at 3 pm on Thursday, February 23 to hear a live performance by the Doc and Kris Hennum of the Front Band. A great kick off for Birkie weekend. You can usually get WOJB by the time you get to Rice Lake.

Bike Funding: It's Not Over 'til it's Over
Many of you responded to the call to contact you legislator to support Representative Thomas Petri's bipartizan ammendment to restore the five billion dollars of funding in the Transportation Budget for the next five year. It lost by two votes in committee.
Now it is up to the Senate to approve a budget that includes the funding and then work it out with the House. CLICK HERE to let your senators know you want some of your taxes spent to improve and make biking safer.
