Over time skis oxidize and begin to lose the ability to hold wax. A ski grind will take a very fine layer off the ski to reset the base for better holding of wax. We formulate our grind to be ideal for the upper Midwest colder conditions.

Hot boxing is a process which involves heating the ski with a soft coat of wax in order to increase wax absorption by opening up the pores in a ski. This means that after a hot box, you skis will hold wax better and be faster because of it.
